About the role
As a Software Engineer (New Grad) at VGen, you’ll work directly with our cofounder / CTO and the rest of the Engineering team. You'll work across the stack and own the development of new features from the architecture stage all the way to production. You'll play an important part in launching or upcoming shop product, and will have opportunities to champion and lead your own projects.
As we grow our team and business, you'll have direct input into how you want your career to evolve, and chances to work across the stack in different areas of software engineering.
Who you are
- Graduating in 2025 with experience in software engineering roles
- Experience using front end technologies such as React, Next.js, HTML, and CSS
- Knowledge of Node.js and MongoDB
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn quickly
- Ready to hit the ground running and make an impact in your first week
- Strong communicator who can articulate your ideas clearly
- University degree or college diploma in a computer science/engineering program
Nice-to-haves
- You enjoy watching anime / VTubers / streamers / internet culture
- An eye for design
- You prefer Discord over Slack
- Previous experience working in a startup environment
